A Website for A Shoe Store
Red’s Shoe Barn is a Dover, NH institution. Having been around since the 1950’s, Red’s is the go-to place for all your shoe needs. Yet, even though they had two stores with the top brands in shoes and some of the lowest prices in the area, their website did not reflect the stores accurately.
They wanted a non-commerce website that highlighted the Red’s brand as well as give potential customers a sense of what their shopping experience might be like.
Our solution used large imagery to convey the how large and how much inventory Red’s carried. We also wanted to make the site easy to find the information you want and easy for our clients to maintain. The site uses a WordPress platform to create a visual representation of the Red’s Shoe Barn store. We also brought in a professional photographer to shoot both locations. High-end photography was essential to the solution we created.
Understanding that the target audience would be visiting a non-commerce website primarily for practical information to help them get to the store., we made certain information easily accessible via mobil devices. For example, the contact information and hours are on top of the page. We also linked the location addresses to Google Maps so the target can get instant directions to Red’s from where ever they are located by simply clicking the link.
